World Expo Ushers In Dubai In 2020

An economic boom is expected in Dubai with Expo 2020 round the corner. UAE has been a participant in all of the world expos conducted in the past decades until the recent expo held in Milan, Italy. It had been a proud moment for Dubai and UAE when the former won the right to host the Expo in 2020. And certainly, it did celebrate for being chosen as the next venue for the biggest trade fair of the world. The six month long trade fair expects to attract 25 million visitors and even up to 100 million during the course of the event.

The Expo to be held under Dubai centered on the theme, “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future” with a host of pavilions comprising the hero UAE pavilion, with sub themes such as opportunity, mobility and sustainability. Moreover, Dubai Expo 2020 has a dedicated pavilion for Children. The Children’s pavilion intends to bring in fun and interactive educational activities and exhibitions creating a perfect platform for little minds to suggest solutions for a better tomorrow. The pavilions will be in the size of a single tennis court to 16 tennis courts. At present, it is found that more than 30000 volunteers are required for the smooth conduct of the six month long expo in Dubai. A logo has also been designed for Dubai Expo 2020.

The Expo 2020 will be unique experience for the 250 participants both corporate and countries expected to visit during the mega event from October 10, 2020 to April 10, 2020. It will be dedicated to provide exceptional day and night experiences with incredible exhibitions discussing the innovations and experiments in future. There will be night specific shows with vibrant sound and light displays at the Central Al Wasl Plaza. Al Wasl Plaza is the focal place of Expo 2020 and the Expo conference centre will be adjacent to the Dubai World Central Airport.

The impact of winning the right to host the Expo 2020 has already been helping the Dubai’s economy by leaps and bounds. The infrastructure and real estate sector has ushered to the biggest Expo to be held in 2020 in Dubai.
